Chinese export silver covered Kiddush goblet, 19th century. Round cup on a stem mounted to a flat circular foot. Stepped domed cover with bird finial. Engraved on the cover and on the cup with leaves. Bearing cartouche in the diddle of the cup. Hallmarked with Chinese characters. Kiddush Goblet is a ceremonial vessel to hold wine for the blessing said at Shabbat and Jewish holidays meals.
