Rare silver Torah finials (Rimmonim), France, circa 1865.
The circular lower part is engraved with an alternating silver and vermeil tile motif, and decorated with flower shape bells. The piriform central part is cutout with an alternating stylized, silver and vermeil vegetal motif. The top consists of a crown with cut-out amounts enclosing a jasper pearl.
Marked at the bottom of the handle with master Paillard's hallmark in a horizontal diamond, flanked by a star at the bottom (Dictionary of Paris hallmarks, vol. II, n ° 03375)
