The Bezalel Academy of Art has awarded the Raphael Prize for Design to this Mezuzah by Dan Givon. This unique shape allows us to actually see and read the beautiful prayer that is hidden away in the conventional Mezuzah. As in all of Dan Givon's Judaica, this piece is Kosher, complying with all of the rules of Jewish law and comes with the highest quality hand inscribed Parchment Scroll. This Mezuzah was chosen to be presented to the Pope by the Jewish community in New York.

Dan Givon, born in Israel in 1955. He graduated the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design with honors in 1981. Since then he has earned international recognition for his original designs and magnificent craftsmanship. He creates his work in small limited editions, with each piece skillfully handcrafted by Dan himself. His work is exhibited in the finest Judaica collections in Israel and abroad.
Dan Givon is the recipient of prizes from the following design competitions for the pieces listed below.
