The upper section decorated with a silver filigree, and with window that allow to see the parchment inside, the bottom section decorated with the same design as the upper section. Marked on the back: "Made in Israel" and 925 for sterling silver.
The Mezuzah is a tiny receptacle that houses a parchment scroll which contains two verses from the scriptures. It is attached to the doorway of every Jewish home.
