Handmade sterling silver Etrog container by Peter Ehrenthal, New York, USA, circa 1960.

The cover is decorated with a hand holding an Etrog with hand-hammered and cut-out technique.

Handcut lattice work is applied to the container with five repeating patterns: lion and deer, vegetal design, the four species, fish and bird, and vine with grapes. Raised on four ball feet, each decorated with a leaf.
