Late 20th century silver Mezuzah case handmade by the artist Shuki Freiman. The base of the mezuzah case is adorned with floral engraving throughout, while the cylinder is decorated with geometrical pattern and hollowed circles to reveal the scroll it is meant to contain. At the top of the cylinder are the Hebrew letters referred to G-d. Signed by the artist on the back. Shuki Freiman, master silversmith and artist, is a seventh generation Jerusalemite born and raised in the Jewish Quarter inside the old city. Creating exquisite silver works for over 40 years, Freiman's art adorns the homes of prominent art collectors and is displayed in museums and galleries around the world. Every item in Menorah Galleries is accompanied by a lifetime “Certificate of Authenticity” and additional documentation and information regarding the individual artifact and its culture.
