Large synagogue silver Hanukkah Lamp Menorah, Germany, 1914.
This large antique silver Menorah features a baluster form central column with geometrical design using the engraving technique, surmounted by a flame shaped finial, a removable Shamash sits below, which can be attached and taken off using a small bracket. Eight other silver candle holders are supported by leaf decorated branches attached to the central column. The Menorah is set on a semi-spherical base on four silver grape leaves and clusters feet.

The base is engraved with geometrical ornaments surrounding a cartouche with Hebrew engraving inside with the Jewish date for 13/12/1914, engraved below the decoration in Hebrew: Donated by B. Z. Kal Israel

Weighted (loaded) base for better stability and durability.

Marked on the base with German silver hallmarks.
