Silver candleholder for the Havdalah service, Germany, circa 1890.
On round domed decorated base with three silver lions flaking at the candle side supports. The three candle side supports are twisted and topped with decorative silver balls. Marked on the base with German silver hallmarks. Havdalah, the service in the home at the conclusion of the Sabbat, includes blessings over wine, spices, and a candle.
