Dutch brass magnifier, 18th century An unusual handmade magnifier, the round magnifying glass set within a brass frame, on a central post round wooden base. Most likely used for reading. The magnifier brass frame is engraved with the names of four angels in Hebrew; Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel on one side, and with Star of David on the other side.
