Porcelain Salt-water dish for the Passover Seder, made in the USA, circa 1910. Formed in the shape of a cracked egg positioned on three legs. Ornamentations in color on the dish and inscriptions in Yiddish, Hebrew and English. By an illustration of an egg on a blue plate and a crown, appears an inscription (Yiddish) "Salz Wasser" [salt water]. By an illustration of an open Haggadah inscribed in Hebrew "Ma Nishtana HaLayla / Haze Mikol Haleylot", appears an inscription in English: "Seder Salt Water". Surface of the dish ornamented in several places with images of green karpas. Comes with the original porcelain ladle spoon. Marked on the reverse (maker's mark/serial number).
