American sterling silver Hanukkah lamp, Lower east side, New York, circa 1900
The backplate embossed with a crown flanked with two lions, and applied with the Temple Menorah in the center. The front fitted with eight candle holders behind decorative silver fence.
Set on four lion shaped supports.
The Menorah was also used to light candles for the Sabbath in addition to Hanukkah.
Marked on the base with American silver hallmark.
